Frank Gatti, MBA, CPA

Frank Gatti  Frank Gatti has been directly involved with over $10 billion of M&A, Equity and Debt Transactions; Turnaround & Transformation Strategies;  Credit Ratings; Investor & Banking Relations and Benefit Plans for 7,000 employees. He had a 13 year career as CFO of Educational Testing Service ("ETS"), a global B2C & B2B company, leading a two-year turnaround that reversed a decade of operating and cash flow deficits.  During his tenure revenues quadrupled to $1.3 billion by 2011, with 35% coming from outside the U.S.. Through the leadership of numerous  transformational transactions & initiatives, the creation of financial functions/tools & building high-performance teams, over $500 million of net free cash flow was generated and reinvested in technology, quality, R&D and innovation.

Prior to ETS, Mr Gatti spent 20 years at The New York Times Company where he served as Corporate Vice President/Financial Management, Corporate Vice President/Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller. During his tenure he was directly involved with over 50 M&A deals that took the single business to a newspaper, magazine, television & cable TV media conglomerate. Revenues grew from $400 million  to $2.4 billion by 1997, with 50% coming from acquired companies.

Mr. Gatti began his career in New York with Deloitte and provided an array of services to public, private & tax-exempt companies across various industry segments.

Mr. Gatti currently serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Corporate Directors/NJ(since 2014) and the Finance Committee of The Conference Board (since 2011). Most recently he has served on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee (Chair) of Peoples Educational Holdings, Inc.(2012-2014 Restructure); the Board of Directors and Blackboard, Inc.(2004 IPO-2011 Sale) and Special, Governance/Nominating & Audit Committees (Chair); the Board of Directors of Prometric, Inc.(2007-2011) and Audit Committee (Chair) and the Board of Directors of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce (2005-2011).
