Jim Abel has more than 40 years of experience in finance leadership for manufacturing companies in the specialty chemicals, industrial products and pollution control areas, including more than 20 years as CFO. He capped his career by serving as president and CEO of Financial Executives International, helping refocus its efforts and leading the search for a permanent CEO. Abel received the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award from Crain’s Cleveland Business and was inducted in Accounting Today’s Hall of Fame in 1998 as one of the 100 most influential people in accounting. Active in many professional and civic organizations.
