Mr. Grace oversees research and consulting engagements and financial operations of the firm, and provides litigation consulting services to clients on technology related claims and disputes and electronic discovery issues. Steve joined HSG in 2006 after a nine year career at Chase as a senior technology officer. His previous assignments in other companies focused on communications, groupware and project management.

Steve has assisted HSG clients with examining and responding to the reports of technology experts, and also participating in depositions of technology experts and damages experts testifying about technology related damages. Steve had senior responsibilities for software support for treasury and securities at J.P. Morgan Chase, and that background continues to come to the forefront in many cases today. In one case, his analyses was central to refuting the report of a plaintiff’s expert on a technology damage claim, leading to the plaintiff deciding to withdraw that expert as a witness in court.
