Larry Prendergast was the Vice President and Treasurer of AT&T from 1983-1997. In 1997 he was elected Chairman and CEO of AT&T Investment Management Corp. which was responsible for the investment and the administration of $35 billion in funded employee plan assets for AT&T Corp. He retired from AT&T in 1999. He then became Executive Vice President of Finance at LaBranche & Co. Inc., a New York Stock Exchange specialist firm.
Before joining HSG, Larry served as an expert witness for the IRS in the late 60s and later gave numerous depositions in his role as Treasurer of AT&T. He was also deposed in a trial while a director of an Ohio company. At HSG, Larry has provided expert services analyzing allegations in disputes involving officer and director responsibilities, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, financings and bankruptcies, and numerous other subject areas. He also has served as a speaker in HSG’s business and professional programs for law and insurance clients.
